Following major refurbishments carried at Inveralmond Community High School

The Gameshall has been upgraded and it has improved heating and a greatly improved lighting system.

In addition to this, several members of the Club have taken the plunge to engage in more competitive play as we have now enjoyed a second year in the Edinburgh's Lothian League competition, held at Meadowbank on a monthly basis.

Last year, the team managed to end the season in last place but following improved tactical and technical knowledge, they have have moved up the ladder, so hopefully they can hang on until this season's end!

The aim for next year is to also enter the mixed doubles League, so if you are interested, please let us know!

Livingston Badminton Club was put firmly on the map when just before Christmas we were asked to be part of a television show with Lorraine Kelly' s ITV called 'Make me Happier' in which individuals were being helped getting a better quality of life. Of course most members had no objections to being filmed and there was quite a buzz on Club night when it had been televised!

Lastly, the Junior section is going from strength to strength under the guidance of Grant Waters who is doing a fantastic job with both the Junior and advanced Junior sections.
